Introducing Seattle JavaScript Game Development Meetup

Introducing Seattle JavaScript Game Development Meetup | Massively Fun Introducing Seattle JavaScript Game Development Meetup Introducing Seattle JavaScript Game Development Meetup February 15th, 2012 Part of what we’re passionate about at Massively Fun is expanding our communitiy’s knowledge and understanding of HTML5 and javascript game development. This month, we were excited to roll out our new group; The Seattle JavaScript Game Development Meetup . Here, everyone in the Seattle area who is interested in learning and teaching about all things related to programming, , sdks and tools for development, will have an opportunity to come together and talk about the next-generation of gaming. It’s a chance to bounce ideas of each other, get some feedback and enjoy a beer or two! Each meeting will feature talks by leaders in the community. In addition, members can give five-minute lightning talks on the things they’re working on or interested in. This time, we heard from Grant Goodale (from right here at Massively Fun ) and from Kevin Moore (of Think Pixel Lab ). Check out the slides from Grant Goodale’s talk here to get a killer overview of JavaScript game development. And, if you’d like to know more about retained-mode graphics libraries, then Kevin Moore’s talk can be found here . Both are excellent! We are pumped to see what March’s meetup has in store!
